CBI Files 2 More Chargesheets Against Jagan
CBI files 2 more chargesheets in connection with the land allotment to Lepakshi Knowledge Hub (LKH) and Indu Projects, in connection with Jagan's case.
The CBI, which is probing into YSR Congress party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's Disproportionate Assets case, named Major Industries Minister J Geetha Reddy as accused no. 9 in one of the chargesheets filed today.
2 chargesheets were filed on Tuesday, in connection with the land allotment to Lepakshi Knowledge Hub (LKH) and Indu Projects.
Earlier, the CBI had questioned Geetha Reddy about the allotment of land to LKH in Anantapur district. The CBI had probed the allegation that the YSR regime had allotted more than 8,840 acres worth Rs. 1,768 crore in the Lepakshi Knowledge Hub to Indu Projects, which later invested in Jagan's companies.
While 14 people have been accused in the case related to Lepakshi Knowledge Hub, 10 were accused in the Indu Industries case.
With today's filings, the CBI has filed a total of 10 chargesheets in relation to the Disproportionate Assets case. Names of many politicians and industrialists involved in the case have come into the open.
