TDP Corporator Booked For Misbehaving With Woman

A criminal case was registered against TDP corporator Venkateshwar Rao alias Chanti for allegedly misbehaving with a woman onboard an Air India flight.

The Cyberabad Police on Saturday registered a criminal case against TDP corporator Venkateshwar Rao alias Chanti under 354 of the IPC for allegedly misbehaving with a woman onboard an Air India flight going to Vijayawada enroute Hyderabad.

The complainant said that the corporator had misbehaved with her and tried to deliberately touch her.

She complained to the Air India staff and also filed a complaint against him in the Shamshabad police station.

Since it was a transit flight, Rao flew to Vijayawada before any action could be initiated against him.
