Bigg Boss Winner Rahul Attacked By MLA's Men In A Pub

Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 winner Rahul Sipligunj was allegedly attacked by a group of youth at a pub in Gachibowli on Wednesday night.

The incident reportedly occurred when some people in the pub allegedly misbehaved with a woman accompanying Rahul.

Rahul was allegedly beaten up with beer bottles.

The video of the incident, which has gone viral on the social media, shows Rahul sustaining head injuries and being rushed to a private hospital nearby.

Police said that the incident occurred late on Wednesday night when Rahul, along with two female friends, went to the pub. While entering the pub, one Ritesh Reddy, a relative of MLA Rohit Reddy, and his friends made some improper comments about Rahul's friends, resulting in a heated argument.

Half-an-hour later, Ritesh and his friends attacked Rahul with beer bottles and punched him despite the pub management trying to pacify them.

Rahul suffered a serious injury to his face.

After being was discharged from the hospital, Rahul approached the Gachibowli police on Thursday morning and lodged a complaint against the attackers seeking action against them. He also offered the video footage in the pub when the incident occurred, to the police.

Speaking to mediapersons later, Rahul said that he had no confidence that the assailants would be prosecuted by the police, given that they had plenty of political influence. He also claimed that even if Ritesh Reddy and his friends pressurized him for a compromise, he would not succumb. He said that he had also come to know that the accused had behaved in a similar manner several times in the past.
