Telugu film actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is contemplating approaching the Telangana police seeking action against those "resorting to a slander campaign against him" for the last six months.
In a tweet, Kalyan said, "I am contemplating requesting the Telangana police to investigate a slander campaign against me for the last six months. I am sure all the names of these characters, both men and women, who are coming out to malign me will eventually lead to Amaravathi."
Following this, Kalyan also put out another tweet saying, "A lot of interesting names from reputed families, politicians, media barons, their kids... will come out. The ugly nakedness of our society will come out. If you all could encourage a 'sister' to strip and make a show, then this will be mother of all shows."
Over the past few days, the actor with a Twitter following of 2.81 million (note that it is reported that a third of most highly followed Twitter users' followers are bots) has also been going hammer and tongs at the bosses of Telugu TV channels, specifically Radha Krishna of ABN Andhra Jyothi and Srini Raju and Ravi Prakash of TV9, for their high-decibel coverage of the Sri Reddy abuses.
