The West Zone team of the Commissioner's Task Force on Tuesday arrested a notorious rowdy-sheeter, Syed Osman, and foiled a murder conspiracy.
According to police, Syed Osman is a rowdy-sheeter of the Habeebnagar Police Station area, and was a member of gangster Khaiser's gang.
In November last year, Ibrahim, Khaiser, Abdullah alias Chaush, Osman, Majeed and others killed one Fazal, a rowdy-sheeter from the Punjagutta PS. He was also a relative of gangster Ayub Khan, rivalry with whom got him killed.
In this case, Ibrahim, Khaiser, Abdullah, Osman, Majeed and others were arrested and sent to jail.
Mohd Khaiser is still in jail, and Mohd Ibrahim, Chaush, Osman and Majeed would continuously meet Khaiser in jail.
Khaiser hatched a plan to kill Ashwaq, a rowdy-sheeter from the Kalapathar PS, who is a member of Ayub Khan's gang.
KHaiser explained the plan to Ibrahim and his associates.
However, the murder conspiracy was foiled by the Task Force Police, which apprehended Osman along with Ibrahim, Chaush and Majeed last month.
About 5 days ago, Osman was released on bail from Chanchalguda jail.
About two days ago, he had an altercation with his neighbour, Salar, over tap water. Consequently, he decided to attack him, and also procured a sword to execute the plan.
On a tip-off, the West Zone Task Force team arrested Osman near Anitha Bhavan Hotel at Afzalsagar Nala, and seized a sword from his possession.
The arrested accused, along with the seized sword, was handed over to Habeebnagar Police Station for further investigation. (INN)
