The Roads and Buildings Department of Hyderabad, in coordination with the Hyderabad Revenue and Anti-Encroachment Authorities (HYDRAA), today reclaimed government land worth nearly Rs 400 crore at Jubilee Enclave in Madhapur.
During the operation, officials cleared about 16,000 square yards of prime land that had been illegally occupied for commercial use.
An unauthorised hotel constructed on the site was demolished, while public spaces such as parks and access roads, previously blocked by the encroachment, were restored.
Authorities said that the initiative was part of a wider drive to protect public assets from illegal encroachments in the city's IT corridor. They added that continuous monitoring would be carried out to prevent future violations.
