Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today alleged that the TRS leaders were insulting Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan by linking her to the BJP.
Noting that the Governor was merely asking the State government to give respect to her post and to follow the Indian Constitution, Bandi alleged that the government was insulting the First Lady of the State by calling her a BJP leader.
He made these comments on his official Twitter handle.
He alleged that the TRS was repeatedly denigrating the institution of the Governor, and said that the people could not expect much more from the "Kalvakuntla constitution batch".
He added that the TRS leaders were respecting neither women nor the Constitution authored by B R Ambedkar.
Referring to the comments of the Governor against the State government, Bandi said that the Governor merely spoke facts.
For the uninitiated, the Governor had addressed the media on the occasion of her completion of three years as the State's Governor on Thursday, and and had
levelled serious allegations against the State government. Responding to the allegations of the Governor, State ministers G Jagadish Reddy, Errabelli Dayakar Rao and S Niranjan Reddy had
condemned her comments, and said that it had become a fashion for the Governor to level allegations against CM KCR and the State government.
