In the memorandum, the BJP leaders said that the question papers were leaked by employees of the Commission itself, and that question papers appear to have been leaked even for the Group-I preliminary examinations and six other examinations conducted by the Commission.
"And while an SIT has been constituted, the nine persons arrested so far are low rank employees, and we strongly believe that the investigation is just an eye wash," they added.
Alleging that the TRS government was systematically indulging in fraudulent activities, and preventing meritorious students and candidates from getting selected, the BJP leaders demanded that in the interest of the student community and the youth of Telangana State, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao under whom the TSPSC functioned directly should own responsibility and resign immediately.
They also said that the question paper leak was a failure of the IT department, and therefore IT Minister K T Rama Rao too should own responsibility and resign immediately.
Similarly, the Chairman, all the Board members and the Secretary of the Commission should be debarred, and a new board constituted for the Commission, they said.
They also said that a judicial enquiry should be ordered into the matter by a sitting judge of the High Court.
Expressed concern over the future of the unemployed youth who were banking on the results of the exams, the BJP leaders also demanded that all the candidates who prepared for the examination should be compensated with Rs 1,00,000 each by the government.
