Speaking at the inauguration of a new building at the Natco Zilla Parishad High School in Kothur, Shadnagar, Telangana IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu today talked up about the government's dedicated efforts to strengthen public education, provide employment and support the poor.
He claimed that the State government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, had successfully recruited 57,000 individuals into government service within a year - an achievement of national significance.
He also said that the government had a goal of preparing students in public institutions to perform on par with those in private schools. "Emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence are being integrated into the curriculum to ensure students are future-ready. Teachers play a key role in restoring public trust in government schools. So, the long-pending promotions for government teachers have been addressed, and specialized Amma Committees have been formed to oversee school operations," he said.
"Initiatives are also underway to introduce digital classrooms in all government schools, with the aim of enhancing academic standards through a structured, expert-driven approach," Babu said.
The minister also said that Indiramma housing would be provided to all eligible beneficiaries in a phased manner.
He called opposition criticism politically motivated and baseless, particularly as the government was sincerely working to fulfill every electoral promise. He said that those who had failed to provide housing for the poor over the past decade were now seeking to criticise the current administration.
