47 Candidates Remain In Fray In Munugodu By-Election

A total of 47 candidates have remained in the fray for the Munugodu by-election after the conclusion of the last day for the withdrawal of nominations.

A total of 47 candidates have remained in the fray for the Munugodu Assembly constituency by-election after the conclusion of the last day for the withdrawal of nominations.

A total of 130 candidates filed 199 nominations for the by-election. However, the Election Commission authorities rejected the nomination papers of 47 candidates. Of the remaining 83 candidates, 36 candidates withdrew their nominations eventually.

The by-election will be held on November 3. The key contest is between the ruling TRS, the Congress and the BJP.
