National BJP Vice-President and former minister D K Aruna today came down heavily on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and alleged that her native place, Palamuru district, had suffered a lot due to the negligent attitude of the CM.
Aruna also claimed that KCR was hitting the people of the Palamuru district with his feet with his negligent attitude.
Citing what she alleged was another instance of negligent governance, the leader also alleged that the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh government was "looting" water from the Krishna due to the active support of KCR.
Commenting on the upcoming by-election in the Huzurabad Assembly constituency, the BJP bigwig made clear her belief that the ruling party, the TRS, would never win the seat at any cost.
In fact, she predicted that the BJP would find another MLA in Etala Rajender, who. she said, was likely to win the seat.
Aruna is not the only leader from the saffron party who has expressed confidence about the BJPs victory in the election - some days ago, state party head Bandi Sanjay Kumar had asserted that the TRS
would not even recover its deposit in the Huzurabad by-election.
He had claimed, "After Rajender's resignation from the post of Huzurabad MLA, there will now have to be a by-election in the constituency soon. Unfortunately for the TRS, it does not have any candidates who can help it retain the seat. I am confident that we will be able to hoist the saffron flag in Huzurabad after the by-election."
Meanwhile, as the race for the recently vacated MLA seat heats up, the BJP has begun to make preparations to claim the seat.
Yesterday, the party even
appointed mandal in-charges for the upcoming by-election in the constituency.
