Kanti Velugu: 7,44,041 People Screened So Far

7,44,041 people have undergone eye screening tests under the Telangana government's Kanti Velugu scheme so far.

Of them, a total of 1,93,321 people have been given reading glasses free of charge, 1,06,817 people have been given prescription glasses, and another 4,18,780 people were detected as not having any eye problems.

On Monday (today), 17,972 people underwent eye screening tests, 2,886 were given reading glasses, 1,784 people will be given prescription glasses shortly, and 12,879 people were found to be not having any eye ailments.
