The employees and workers of the State's gram panchayats called off their 34-day agitation, and decided to join duties from Wednesday.
Leaders of the Telangana Employees and Workers Gram Panchayat Joint Action Committee held discussions with Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao who assured them that all their problems would be sorted out in a phased manner.
The minister promised that he would take up the problems related to the financial matters to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, and would resolve them as early as possible.
On the assurance given by the minister, the JAC leaders decided to call off the ongoing agitation and resume duties from Wednesday.
