Kodandaram Demands Regularization Of JPSs

The Telangana Jana Samithi founder-president demanded that the State government immediately regularise the services of the agitating Junior Panchaayat Secretaries.
Hyderabad | 11th May 2023
Telangana Jana Samithi founder-president M Kodandaram today demanded that the State government take steps for the immediate regularisation of the services of the agitating Junior Panchaayat Secretaries (JPSs).

He also demanded that the State government hold talks with the JPSs and address their problems.

Addressing a gathering of the JPSs at the Suryapet district Collecterate, he extended his party's support to the indefinite strike of the JPSs and OPSs (Outsourcing Panchayat Secretaries).

Kodandaram said that the State government had promised the JPSs that it would regularize their services, and alleged that it was now retracting from that.

Referring to the termination notice issued by the State government, he said that it was not fair for the government to issue such a notice. He asked the government to instead hold discussions with the JPS unions.
