Chief advisor to the Telangana government Rajiv Sharma reviewed the progress of various important projects and initiatives of the Industries & Commerce departments at a high-level meeting, held at the Secretariat on Saturday.
The chief advisor directed the officials to prepare a roadmap for implementing the State's industrial projects. He suggested that definite time limits shall be set up for each project.
He also took stock of the progress made in various projects like the integrated textile park in Warangal, the Hyderabad Pharma City and setting up dry port in the State. The meeting also discussed plans to set up a medical devices park in Sultanpur, a plastic park in Tummaluru and furniture park in Dandu Malkapur village.
Industries & Commerce Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar, CMO Additional Principal Secretary Shanti Kumari and VC & MD of Telangana Handicrafts Development Corporation Sailaja Ramaiyer were present.
