Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao awarded government lands to Khammam MLA Puvvada Ajay and MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and made them join the TRS party, the Congress said that the TRS had lured other party's' MLAs and MPs by offering to regularize their illegal holdings under GO No 59.
Speaking to the media at the Assembly Media Hall on Saturday, Alampur MLA S A Sampath Kumar alleged that the TRS was culpable of illegal in party defections.
The TRS gifted Rs. 45 crores worth government land to Khammam MLA and MP in the name of GO No 59, and the Congress had all the evidence to substantiate this, he claimed.
Warning government employees not to extend their cooperation to the TRS "unethical works", Kumar said that he would approach the High Court on TRS quid pro quo on party defections.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was fooling the people in the name of regularization, and there was no credibility to the surveys conducted by the government, he added.
