CM Revanth Reddy today assessed the progress of the Medaram and Basara temple works, and directed the completion of the projects at Medaram within 100 days.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today directed officials to prepare plans to complete the development projects at Medaram within 100 days.
The CM held a review meeting at his residence to assess the progress of the Medaram and Basara temple works. During the meeting, officials presented the master plans for the development of both temples.
Reddy reviewed various design options for the Medaram temple's development. He was also presented proposals for the expansion and development of the Basara Gyana Saraswathi temple.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that respecting local sentiments was important, and advised that the opinions of local experts and priests be considered in the development of all temples.
He also spoke about the conveniences for devotees ahead of the Medaram Mahajathara.
"There should be adequate facilities for entry, exit and parking to ensure convenience for the devotees. Officials must also plan for the construction of check dams in specific areas to maintain water in the Jampanna stream, keeping future needs in mind," he said.
The Chief Minister added that he planned to visit Medaram this week for an on-site evaluation, and urged officials to make the necessary preparations.
