CM Promises Support To Archery Champion Chikitha Taniparthi

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy promised support to the women's archery champion for comprehensive training to help her win medals at the upcoming Olympics.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today assured women's archery champion Chikitha Taniparthi of complete support, including for comprehensive training, to help her win medals at the upcoming Olympic Games.

Taniparthi had made history by becoming the first Indian woman to win a gold medal at the Youth World Archery Championships, at the edition held in Canada this year. She had also secured a silver medal in the senior World Cup team event held in Shanghai, China.

The archery champion paid a courtesy visit to the CM today. During the interaction, the Chief Minister said that the government was prioritising the promotion of sports in the State and would encourage aspiring athletes to achieve Olympic success.
