TDP Condemns Jagan For Criticising Naidu
TDP leader Somireddy Chandrasekhar Reddy slams YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for criticising the hunger strike by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
TDP senior leader Somireddy Chandrasekhar Reddy, on Sunday, slammed YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for criticising the hunger strike by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
Addressing a press conference at the NTR Trust Bhavan here, Somireddy said that Naidu's fast had an impact on the national politics and that the attention of the entire nation has thus been drawn towards the injustice being done to the Telugu people (by the Congress government). He also mentioned (without taking Jagan's name) that "some people are criticising the TDP president although they themselves went on a hunger strike at their residence". He further added that all the YSRCP workers had ended their fast on the second day itself.
Somireddy alleged that the YSRCP was having a secret pact with the Congress party and wants to capatalise on the Samaikyandhra sentiments in the Seemandhra region, while indirectly helping the latter in Telangana. (INN)
