Jagan Discharged From NIMS

Jagan, who was shifted to NIMS by the police on the 5th day of his hunger strike on October 9, returned home. It is not clear if he will restart the fast.

YSR Congress Party President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was discharged from the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) here on Saturday.

Jagan, who was shifted to NIMS by the police on the 5th day of his hunger strike on October 9, returned home from the hospital.

Describing Jagan's condition as stable, doctors said that he has been recovering well. He was suffering from high fever and dehydration when admitted to NIMS.

Jagan had gone on indefinite fast demanding that the Centre withdraw its decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh. It is not clear if he will restart the fast. (INN)
