Swine Flu Claim Three More Lives, Toll Now 25

NIMS Director Dr L Narendranath said that so far tests had been conducted on blood samples of 1,156 people, and that of them 414 tested positive for swine flu.

The death toll due to swine flu in Telangana has increased to 25 since December 2014, with three more deaths reported on Tuesday. Of the 25, 16 people died in January alone.

Speaking to media persons on Tuesday, NIMS Director Dr L Narendranath said that so far tests had been conducted on 1,156 blood samples. Of them, 414 tested positive for swine flu.

However, he claimed that all efforts were being made to control the spread of the disease. He appealed to the people to maintain hygiene and take all suggested precautions. (INN)
