The dreaded Swine Flu virus is reportedly back in Hyderabad after one person allegedly succumbed to its symptoms on Tuesday night. And as per sources, more than 20 cases have been reported in the last 10 days.
As per reports, a woman named Manjula, 35, died of Swine Flu on January 5, while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital. Later, the doctors reportedly confirmed that she died of the H1N1 virus.
The doctors claimed that Manjula was admitted in the hospital during the final stage of her illness, and hence were unable to save her.
On the other hand, 20 Swine Flu cases have been registered this season and five of them from Hyderabad alone, and the remaining cases were from the neighbouring districts of Medchal and Ranga Reddy.
Several hospitals are cautioning that the H1N1 virus was spreading rapidly due to the severe cold and dry weather in Hyderabad and the rest of Telangana. Citizens have been advised not to ignore any fever like symptoms and approach physicians and diagnosticians immediately.
