Telangana Tourism and Culture Minister V Srinivas Goud today gave Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K T Rama Rao a Panchaloha cradle as a present for the latter's 45th birthday.
The panchaloha cradle is one that has figurines of Rao and his mother, K Shobha, sitting on it. It was reportedly sculpted by two noted sculptors over two months.
Along with his two daughters, Srihitha, who is the Chairperson of the Sri Shantha Narayana Goud Charitable Trust, and Sriharsha, Goud called on the minister at the Pragathi Bhavan.
There, the three gave KTR the Panchaloha cradle as well as another rather touching gift. They presented to him a collage comprising photographs of KTR's father, Chief Minster K Chandrashekar Rao, and his mother.
Speaking on the occasion, Goud said that the gifts were to mark the occasion of the young minister's birthday, which was on July 24. He added that on the latter's birthday, the leaders of the TRS had participated in a plantation drive in Mahabubnagar, and that several other programs like blood donation camps had also been organised.
Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, and ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mohammad Mahmood Ali, and Errabelli Dayakar Rao too had organised
grand celebrations and plantation programs to mark the occasion.
