Telangana IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao turned 45 years old today.
On the occasion, innumerable birthday messages poured in for the young leader. The leaders and representatives of the TRS organised a massive plantation program, to plant 3 crore saplings across the state, in honour of Rao.
Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy held a Haritha Haram program on the Assembly premises. Pro-tem chairman of Telangana State Legislative Council Bhupal Reddy and various TRS MLAs participated in the program.
Later, the speaker stated that the most invaluable asset in the world was good health, and added that one could remain healthy by working to keep the environment healthy. He conveyed his greetings to KTR and called upon the leaders of different political parties to come forward and also plant trees for the creation of a clean and green Telangana.
Meanwhile, ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Mohammad Mahmood Ali participated in a program held at the Telangana Bhavan. Grand birthday celebrations were held at the Khammam district party office as well, under the supervision of Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar. Later, Kumar took part in a plantation program.
Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao too held a Haritha Haram plantation drive in Janagaon district while minister Satyavathi Rathod planted saplings at Chinthoni Gumpu village in the Bayyaram mandal of Mahabubabad district.
Several prominent personalities, including Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Kumar, Lok Sabha MPs Ranjith Reddy and B B Patil, ministers Gangula Kamalakar, S Niranjan Reddy, Srinivas Goud and Jagadish Reddy, and MLAs Haripriya Naik, Jogu Ramanna, Divakar Rao, Challa Dharma Reddy, Marri Janardhan Reddy, Chirumarti Lingaiah, Koneru Konappa, Rajender Reddy, Chittem Rammohan Reddy, Gadari Kishore Kumar, Voditela Satish Kumar, Bethi Subash Reddy, and Patnam Narender Reddy, conveyed their greetings to KTR. Minister T Harish Rao was also among the many who wished him.
