Hyderabad | 26th January 2025
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today announced that funds for the Rythu Bharosa scheme would be credited to farmers' accounts starting at midnight (January 26).
The Chief Minister made this announcement while inaugurating four initiatives - Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Atmeeya Bharosa, Indiramma Houses, and the distribution of new ration cards - at Chandravancha village in the Kosgi mandal of Narayanapeta district.
During his address, Reddy said, "The Congress government has been systematically fulfilling all our party's electoral promises, including providing Rs 12,000 to farmers under the Rythu Bharosa scheme and Rs 12,000 to agricultural workers through the Indiramma Atmeeya Bharosa initiative. The government also aims to allocate Rs 10,000 crore to all cultivable lands by March 31. Under the Indiramma Atmeeya Bharosa initiative, Rs 12,000 will be given to each of 10 lakh families each year."
The Chief Minister also said that there were plans to construct four lakh Indiramma houses with an investment of Rs 22,500 crore, and that all the initiatives would be implemented by March 31.
Reddy also criticized the BRS for "hindering the government's efforts" in implementing these schemes.
He also said, "In the event of any issues arising in the Kodangal constituency, my brother, Tirupathi Reddy, will be readily available to address them. He is engaged in public service without any expectation of personal gain. My family does not seek positions of power. Unlike the former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, I have not allocated positions to my relatives."
