Revanth Reddy Releases Rythu Bharosa Funds
The CM announced that a total of Rs 9,000 crore would be transferred to the accounts of 70,11,984 farmers over the next nine days.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today officially launched the distribution of Rythu Bharosa funds directly into farmers' accounts.
On the occasion, he announced that a total of Rs 9,000 crore would be transferred to the accounts of 70,11,984 farmers over the next nine days.
The Chief Minister participated in the Rythu Nestham programme at the Professor Jayashankar Agricultural University, where he interacted directly with farmers from various districts.
In his address, Revanth Reddy reiterated that the State government was commitment to not only improving the lives of farmers but also transforming agriculture into a celebration in Telangana.
"The State government is encouraging farmers to cultivate fine varieties of paddy to supply better quality rice to those in need. As part of this initiative, a bonus of Rs 500 is being offered for fine rice. Thanks to the farmers' efforts, we are now able to distribute this quality rice to economically disadvantaged communities. Meanwhile, Telangana has also emerged as the leading State in rice production in the country," he said.
He also urged farmers to adopt crop rotation practices, and also directed the Chief Secretary to ensure that district Collectors promoted awareness about the benefits of solar pump sets for agriculture.
Reddy also said, "Regardless of any protests or demonstrations by the Opposition parties, the Congress government will remain in power for the next ten years."
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister also inaugurated a video conferencing facility at 1,034 Rythu Vedikas under the Rythu Nestham program. With this, a total of 1,600 Rythu Vedikas across Telangana have now been equipped with video conferencing capabilities.
