Anticipatory Bail Granted To Vishnuvardhan Reddy

The ex-Jubilee Hills MLA allegedly attacked Kalwakurthy MLA Vamshi Chand Reddy and his gunmen at a wedding in the N-Convention Centre on December 15.

A Ranga Reddy District Court on Friday granted anticipatory bail to former Jubilee Hills MLA Vishnuvardhan Reddy in connection with a case registered against him at the Madhapur Police Station for allegedly assaulting Kalwakurthy MLA Vamshi Chand Reddy.

Vishnu reportedly went underground to evade arrest by the police, and had applied for anticipatory bail.

Vishnu is accused of attacking Vamshi Chand Reddy and his gunmen at a wedding in the N-Convention Centre on December 15.

Although both Vishnu and Vamshi Chand have lodged complaints against each other for the brawl, the video footage showed that it was Vishnu who slapped Vamshi Chand and attacked his gunman. (INN)
