Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh, of the BJP, today lashed out at the Mangalhat police for issuing a notice to him for making provocative and communally sensitive remarks at a public meeting in Dadar of Mumbai on January 29, 2023.
The police had asked Singh to reply to their notice within the next two days, and warned him of action as per the existing rules of law if he failed to reply.
Responding to the notices, Singh said that he was not scared of the notice or even of going to jail, and that he was ready to sacrifice his life for the sake of his religion.
He alleged that the city police were extending their support to CM K Chandrashekar Rao.
Referring to his comments at the public meeting in Mumbai, Singh claimed that he had only demanded that governments make laws for the prevention of cow slaughter, religious conversions and love jihad.
He also asked how the Telangana police issued notices to him for remarks that he had made in Mumbai.
