Raja Singh Booked By Mumbai Police For Hate Speech

Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh, suspended from the BJP last year, has been booked by the Mumbai police for delivering a hate speech at a public meeting held on January 29, 2023.

The police said that Singh had made provocative comments in his speech at the event, and booked a case under Section 153 A 1(A) of the IPC against him.

For the uninitiated, the Hyderabad police had also issued a notice to Singh for delivering the same speech in violation of the bail conditions imposed on him by the Telangana High Court.

In the notice, the city police reminded Singh that the High Court had asked him to not deliver any rabble-rousing speeches, and asked him to send his explanation.

Responding to the notices, Singh had said that he was ready to go to jail for his (Hindu) religion.
