Another Case Booked Against Raja Singh For Hate Speech

The Afzal Gunj police have booked a criminal case against Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh under Sections 153 A 1(A) and 506 of the IPC for making an inflammatory speech against Muslims on Thursday.

Singh had made the speech during a Shobha Yatra rally held on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami.

Local SI Veera Babu, who was supervising the security arrangements, objected to the communal comments made by Singh, and lodged a complaint against him.

Singh, who is out on conditional bail from the High Court, had allegedly made a hate speech in Mumbai too on January 29, 2023, leading to the Mumbai police too booking a similar criminal case against him.

The Hyderabad police too had issued a notice to Singh over the same speech, and reminded the MLA that the High Court had, in his bail order, asked him to not make communal speeches.

Singh has been suspended by the BJP.
