TRS president K Chandrashekar Rao today described AICC president Rahul Gandhi as the "biggest buffoon" in the country.
KCR said this when speaking to the media at the TRS Bhavan while justifying his decision to dissolve the Assembly and pave the way for early elections to it.
When a reference was made by the media to the recent visit of Rahul Gandhi and the latter's charges against the ruling party and its leaders, an irked KCR retorted, "Rahul Gandhi is the biggest buffoon in the country. This was seen by the whole country and even by many other parts of the world when he hugged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha and then winked at his party members."
KCR also launched a bitter attack on the Nehru-Gandhi family - from Jawaharlal Nehru to Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi - for the utter neglect and backwardness of Telangana. "The Congress leaders here are claiming that statehood to Telangana was gifted to the people by the Congress and Sonia Gandhi. All these unlimited idiots are forgetting that it was the sacrifices of the masses, including the students and the youth, which resulted in the formation of Telangana state," he said.
The TRS supremo further charged that the "sycophantic" Congress leaders were used to standing before the doors of and waiting for hours for their Delhi bosses. "That's the reason that I emphasized that the Telangana people should not become the ghulams of or indulge in ghulamgiri of Delhi leaders," he said.
