Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud today alleged that the BRS had already become a sinking ship, and the fight within KCR's family was over the money left on that sinking ship.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Goud said that the conflict in the KCR family was not about the people of Telangana, but rather about a property dispute.
He also took a dig at Telangana BJP President and Union Minister Kishan Reddy for making derogatory comments about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, and asked whether Reddy would dare to respond to remarks made by his party MLA, Raja Singh.
He said that rather than addressing Singh's serious allegations against its own leadership, the BJP was choosing to attack Gandhi, which he viewed as a sign of their incompetence.
He also claimed that there was a clandestine agreement between the BJP and the BRS, and that an undisclosed meeting was held at a farmhouse in Shamirpet involving BJP MP Etala Rajender and BRS MLA Harish Rao, during which the BJP MP communicated with KCR via phone regarding notices served by the PC Ghosh Commission related to the Kaleshwaram project.
