Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today said that his government would not compromise in getting all the bifurcation promises implemented by the union government.
He was addressing the TDP coordination committee meeting held at Praja Darbar Hall in Amaravathi. The meeting was attended by several party senior leaders and ministers.
Naidu informed the meeting that in the recent NITI Ayog meeting he had demanded that all the promises made in the A P Re-organisation Act be lived up to by the Centre.
He also said that MP C M Ramesh and MLC B Tech Ravi were continuing their fasts for getting a steel plant at Kadapa, and asked the party workers to continue their dharnas in the state in support of the two. The protests would also lend a lot of gravitas to the dharnas being planned by TDP MPs on June 28 in New Delhi, Naidu said.
Naidu also claimed that his government was trying to help the victims of AgriGold, but that the BJP and the YSRCP were creating problems.
