BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy today once again challenged Minister Ponnam Prabhakar to come to the Apollo Venkateswara Swamy temple at 12 noon tomorrow and prove his honesty.
"The minister has to swear by God that he has not taken money from fly ash transporters and overloaded lorry owners. If he doesn't come, he will be admitting that he has committed all those scams and looted thousands of crores of rupees illegally," Reddy said.
Earlier, he swore in front of a photo of God in wet clothes that he had not committed any corruption.
"I have not indulged in a single act of corruption anywhere," he said, asserting that he did not even need to.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Pranav Babu responded to Kaushik Reddy's allegations against Ponnam Prabhakar. He challenged Reddy to come to the Hanuman Temple in Chelpur and take an oath that he did not commit any corruption. Reddy accepted the challenge and tried to go to Chelpur today. A large number of Congress workers and leaders accompanied him. However, Reddy was arrested by the police at Veenavanka. This created a tense situation there.
Reddy then took the oath at his home in Veenavanka to prove his honesty.
