The Telangana government today sanctioned Rs 35.25 crore for the construction of an Annadana Satram at Sri Raja Rajeswara Swamy temple in Vemulawada.
Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar is reported to have played a pivotal role in convincing the government of the importance of the project, fulfilling a promise he made during his visit to the temple in August.
Prabhakar said that the government was committed to providing seamless experiences for the devotees visiting the temple, and promised that additional facilities would be introduced to further enhance the convenience and comfort of the pilgrims.
The sanction for the Annadana Satram has been met with widespread joy and appreciation from devotees, who see it as a significant step toward enhancing the temple's infrastructure.
