Hyderabad | 28th July 2014
Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah on Monday said that 16 out of the 20 students who were injured in the train-bus mishap at Musaipet on July 24, were recovering well, and might be discharged from the Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad, soon.

Speaking to media persons after visiting the hospital, Dr Rajaiah said that the children were still undergoing treatment and a decision on their discharge would be taken by the doctors.

He said that the government would depute a doctor from Kamareddy to continue monitoring their health condition for one month. He said that the deputed doctor would regularly brief the doctors at Yashoda Hospital on their conditions, and the children would be re-admitted if required.

Rajaiah also informed that the conditions of Tarun (7) and Vishnavi (11) continued to be serious, while those of Prashanth (6) and Varun Goud (7) had improved. (INN)
