Medak Bus Accident: 7 Kids On Ventilator, 4 Serious

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah said that the other 9 out of the 20 students admitted to the hospital were out of danger.

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah on Friday informed that the conditions of 4 students who were injured in the tragic bus-train accident in the Medak district yesterday, were still serious.

Speaking to media persons after visiting the injured children at Yashoda Hospital, Rajaiah said that 9 out of the 20 students admitted to the hospital were out of danger. He said that while 7 students were on ventilator support, 4 were in serious conditions.

He prayed for the speedy recovery for the students.

He said that some surgeries had already been performed, while a few more surgeries had been lined up for Saturday.

Rajaiah said that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was personally monitoring the progress in the recovery of the injured children.

He said that KCR had already directed the hospital authorities that the entire cost of the treatment would be born by the government. (INN)
