Madhulika Discharged, Demands Stern Action

The minor underwent several surgeries, and spent 15 days in the hospital, which billed Rs 10 lakh.

The victim of a barbarian attack by a jilted lover, Madhulika, was discharged from Yashoda Hospital on Wednesday.

She underwent several surgeries at the hospital, and spent 15 days in it. The treatment cost Rs 10 lakh, of which Rs 5 lakh was sanctioned from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

The doctors at the hospital said that the health condition of Madhulika was normal now.

Speaking to mediapersons at the hospital, the parents of Madhulika thanked the doctors of the hospital and the media for their constant support. They said that the doctors had also conducted counselling for them and asked them to visit the hospital again on Saturday.

The parents also demanded stern action against the accused Bharat and urged the State government to set up a fast track court to expedite the case.
