Telangana CJ Urges CM To Upgrade Court Facilities
During a meeting with the CM, High Court Chief Justice Ujjal Kumar Singh presented a list of requirements for strengthening the State's judicial system.
Telangana High Court Chief Justice Ujjal Kumar Singh today urged the State government to improve the infrastructure of and basic facilities in courts across the State.
During a meeting with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the MCRHRDI, the Chief Justice presented a list of requirements for strengthening the State's judicial system.
The two discussed the allocation of essential amenities and the recruitment of staff for the judiciary.
Justice Singh advised the government to construct court buildings and provide the necessary facilities in the newly formed districts while expediting staff appointments. He also submitted several proposals for the Chief Minister's consideration.
In response, the CM assured the CJ of the government's commitment to prioritising basic amenities and staff recruitment for courts across all districts, including the newly established ones.
Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao, CM's Principal Secretary V Seshadri, Law Secretary Papi Reddy, Justice P Sam Koshi, Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavili and other senior officials were present at the meeting.
