Junior Artiste Murdered In Hyderabad

The death of a junior artiste murdered in the Jubilee Hills police station limits about a month back came to light today.

T Sai, who hailed from Vizianagaram district, used to live in Hyderabad and make YouTube videos. He came into contact with a young woman working as a junior artiste. After a while, the girl did not like Sai's behaviour and distanced herself from him. She later became close to another junior artiste, Karthik, from Sankisa village in Mahbubnagar district.

Recently, Karthik and his brother Shankar went to the room of the girl and stayed there for three days. Sai, the girl's ex-boyfriend, got furious when he came to know about this. With the help of his friends Jagadeesh, Suresh and Raghu from Vizianagaram district, he decided to kill Karthik. With a well-planned plan, the four went to Karthik's room and told him that some of the girl's clothes were left in their room, and asked him to come and pick them up.

Believing it to be true, Karthik accompanied them on a bike. Sai's team then took Karthik towards the forest area at the Old Bowenpally airport and attacked him. He was tied to a tree and stabbed with a knife. He was then pinned to the ground and hit on the head with a boulder. Sai and his friends left the spot after confirming that Karthik was dead.

Karthik's brother Shankar lodged a complaint with the police that he had been missing since August 13. The Jubilee Hills police registered a case and swung into action. The case was cracked on the basis of CCTV footage and mobile phone signals. Sai and his accomplices were taken into custody and interrogated, and they confessed to have killed Karthik.
