Woman Hosteller Stabbed By Uncle At Puppalguda
The man was enraged that she rejected his proposal.

A private woman employee was attacked with a plant cutter by her uncle resulting in bleeding injuries on her neck, left cheek and both hands, behind T Grill Hotel, Puppalguda village, on Tuesday night.
The victim identified herself as Vasavi, 22 years, and is staying at J K Grand Women's Hostel, Indira Nagar, Gachibowli. She is a native of Piduguralla village of Palnaadu district, AP.
She told the police that her uncle Kotha Ganesh had in the past proposed to her, but that she had rejected his love proposal. On June 20 when she was in her hostel at Gachibowli, he came to her and picked her up from the hostel on a 2-wheeler and brought her to behind T Grill. While they were talking, Ganesh proposed to her once again, but she rejected it saying she didn't like him.
Enraged over her reply, Ganesh, suspecting that she was in love with another man, took out a plant cutter from his bag and indiscriminately attacked her with an intention to kill her. A police constable named Bolishetty Satish, of the Narsingi PS, shifted her to Continental Hospital in Gachibowli.
When interrogated, Ganesh said that he was working as a Zomato delivery boy and residing in Sri Venkateswara Boys Hostel, Indira Nagar, Gachibowli. He is a native of Chilakaluripeta in Guntur district, AP. He was taken into custody and brought to the Narsingi police station.
