Fresh BJP leader and former MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy today urged the voters of the Munugodu Assembly constituency to teach a lesson to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in the upcoming by-election for ruling the State like a dictator.
Claiming that Telangana State was formed after the sacrifices of their lives of 1,200 people, Reddy alleged that KCR was carrying out a family rule in the State, and said that a verdict by the people in the by-election against the TRS would have historic consequences.
Reddy toured several villages including Khaitapur, Koyyalagudem, Mandalagudem, Toorpugudem, Singaraya Cheruvu, Kuntlagudem and Ankireddygudem of Choutuppal mandal today. Some 400 activists belonging to different political parties joined the BJP in his presence on the occasion.
Addressing the gatherings, Reddy alleged that KCR had turned the revenue-surplus Telangana into a debt-ridden State. He also alleged that the CM had brought the State to a position where it was not able to even pay the salaries of its employees. He also alleged that the CM had forgotten all his election promises, and that his promise to build free double-bedroom houses for the welfare of the homeless poor families still stayed on paper. He also claimed that the CM was ignoring the welfare of the people of the Padmashali community.
