KCR To Pick Muta Gopal For Musheerabad, A Reddy For Kodad
TRS boss KCR is likely to give the Musheerabad Assembly ticket to Muta Gopal, though leader Naini Narshimha Reddy sought the ticket for his son-in-law V Srinivas Reddy.
According to sources close to the ruling TRS, TRS boss and Telangana caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is likely to give the Musheerabad Assembly ticket to Muta Gopal, though caretaker minister Naini Narshimha Reddy repeatedly sought the same for his son-in-law V Srinivas Reddy.
The TRS chief is also expected to allot the Kodad ticket to a strong candidate who can defeat TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy's wife Padmavathi Reddy.
According to sources, three candidates from the TRS are seeking tickets for the Kodad Assembly constituency, including former MLA Chander Rao, K Shashidhar Reddy and Mallaiah.
It is likely that KCR will zero in on a Reddy leader, to split the Reddy votes in favour of the his party in the constituency.
