The TRS today finally confirmed the candidatures of Mutha Gopal for the Musheerabad Assembly constituency and Mallaiah Yadav for Kodad, and offered them the B-forms.
Caretaker Home Minister Naini Narshimha Reddy today presented the B-form to Mutha Gopal at Barkatpura and offered him sweets, as directed by TRS president and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
KCR is said to have been cautious with Musheerabad given it is a key constituency in Hyderabad, and looked acutely at the winning chances of each of the potential candidates before finally taking a call to rope in Gopal. For this, Narshimha Reddy had to give in - he was seeking the same ticket for his son-in-law Srinivas Reddy.
