Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today made a promise to the people of Gajwel that if BRS returned to power in Telangana, the Dalit Bandhu scheme would be implemented in the entire constituency in one phase.
Addressing a Praja Aashirwada Sabha in the constituency in Siddipet district, the CM also promised that he would bring IT towers to Gajwel and that the Konda Pochamma temple in the constituency would be made grander.
The BRS president ended his election campaign with this meeting. He is contesting for the post of the MLA of the constituency for the third consecutive time.
Speaking about the development that had taken place in the constituency during the last nine and half years, the CM said that Gajwel had emerged as a role model under the BRS regime, and that people were visiting from different parts of the country to see the development of Gajwel.
"People are coming to Gajwel to see our integrated market, forest restoration, Mallanna Sagar project etc. There is no State in India that has not come to Komati Banda village to learn about the implementation of the Mission Bhagiratha scheme. And nobody expected that a train would one day come to Gajwel," KCR claimed.
Earlier, the BRS president addressed another public meeting for the Warangal East and West constituencies in Warangal. In the meeting, the CM said that the BRS had fielded candidates from the backward classes for both those constituencies, and urged the BC intellectuals and educated people in Warangal to elect those candidates as MLAs in the upcoming Assembly elections.
