Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Ministers Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrasekhar Rao respectively attended the wedding of Paritala Sriram and Gnana and blessed the couple at Venkatapuram village under Penugonda mandal of Ananthapur district on Sunday.
Naidu arrived earlier, and after greeting the groom and bride, waited for almost half an hour for KCR to arrive. Just as Naidu was about to leave, the Telangana CM arrived, and they greeted each other.
KCR got a loud applause upon arrival from the thousand or so people at the wedding venue.
The bridal couple later touched the feet of KCR, who gave a hug to Sriram and bouquets to the couple on the occasion.
Sriram is the son of Andhra Pradesh Minister for Child Welfare Paritala Sunitha. She welcomed the two Telugu Chief Ministers at the venue.
The wedding was held in a grand manner, and noted political leaders and cinema personalities attended the event.
KCR had taken a special flight from Begumpet in Hyderabad to reach Ananthapur. He was also accompanied by Minister Thummala Nageshwar Rao, MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao and others.
Later, KCR made a visit to the Paritala Ravindra Ghat in Venkatapuram and paid floral tributes to him. Andhra Pradesh Minister Kalva Srinivasulu, Hindupur MLA and Telugu film hero Nandamuri Balakrishna, Mohan Babu and others were also present.
