Strengthening speculations of a possible change of guard in Andhra Pradesh, Agriculture Minister Kanna Lakshminarayana on Saturday called on Governor E S L Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan.
Kanna's recent meetings with the central leaders, including Congress president Sonia Gandhi, over the last few days have already led to speculations that he might replace Kiran Kumar Reddy as the Chief Minister.
He also met former PCC President D Srinivas and other state leaders, on Friday.
Reportedly Kanna had an interaction with Kiran Kumar Reddy, regarding the same, at the State Secretariat.
Though Kanna has denied reports that he is in the race for the CM's post, his meeting with the Governor is being viewed as one with a high political significance.
Kanna is believed to have discussed the latest political developments in the state, with the Governor. (INN)
