Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar on Sunday strongly condemned the statements of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to media persons here, Ponnam said that the CM's repeated opposition to the decision of the Congress High Command, in relation to the formation of Telangana state is of grave concern.
He said that despite being asked by the Centre to refrain from making statements against the decision, Kiran Kumar Reddy has "maintained his tone".
He described the CM as "foolish" and said that efforts to defeat the Bill in the State Legislative Assembly would have no impact on the Telangana formation and that a new state would be a reality soon. (INN)
