Telangana IT minister K T Rama Rao has received notices from the National Green Tribunal (NGT) upon allegations of building a farmhouse by violating GO No 111.
The Chennai bench of the tribunal issued the notices following a complaint by Congress MP A Revanth Reddy against the construction of the farmhouse by the minister.
The tribunal issued notices to the state government too in the issue.
The tribunal has also constituted a fact-finding committee to unearth the facts in the issue and submit a detailed report.
Officials of the GHMC, the HMDA, the central pollution control board and the HMWSSB, and the Ranga Reddy district Collector, will be the members of the committee.
The tribubal has asked the committee to submit its report within two months.
