Jilted Lover Slits Girl's Throat In Suryapet

A jilted lover slit the throat of a girl for rejecting his love.

The incident took place in Suryapet town.

According to the details available, the accused, Saidulu, had been harassing a girl from Nereducharla in the name of love. However the girl did not accept his overtures. Stung by her rebuffing his advances, he slit her throat near Aurabindo College using a blade, and fled the scene.

The girl was seriously injured in the incident, and was immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment.
